Winners of Buckingham Christmas Window Display
We are proud to announce that we have been Voted 1st Prize in this years Buckingham Christmas Window Display.
Our Main Christmas Window Display has been finished. Its called “The Story of the Christmas Tree.
The Hair & Dress has been completely made out of Paper.
The first Christmas Trees came to Britain sometime in the 1830s. They became very
popular in 1841, when Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had a Christmas Tree set up in Windsor Castle. An 1848 drawing of “The Queen’s Christmas Tree at Windsor Castle” was published in the Illustrated London News. This tradition continues today, where the Christmas tree is at the centre of a family Christmas, something to decorate together and where everyone gathers around to celebrate and mark the start of the festive season.
